Once in a while the universe will give you a serious reality check.
This week the universe made me realize that I am truly blessed with
a life at all.
After returning from a memorial service for a young friend of ours who
sadly passed away at just 29, I turned on the TV and was “channel surfing”
when I landed on Oprah . She was talking to an ex-model who said…
“ Aging is a privilege not a birthright.”
What a powerful message…..

I'm very sorry to read about your friend. It almost feels like serendipity that you happened to hear that little phrase. It's oh so true – thanks for reminding us about what is really important.
I too have had close friends pass away way too early. Isn’t it sad that there needs to be a tragedy for us to open our eyes to life 🙁
